As an exclusive student travel provider, we have taken thousands of students to the city of Helen, GA over the past few years for day and overnight field trips. Educators, parents, and students of all ages love the beautiful setting for this German-inspired city in the Northeast Georgia mountains! On November 9, we are partnering with the city to open its doors for educators from Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Tennessee to explore and experience its student-friendly activities…for FREE. Bring your spouse and/or family to spend the day with us in the city and see what all of the excitement is about!
All packages include a complimentary SkyPass (provided by Orange Sky Travel at check-in) and grants admission to the Georgia Mountain Coaster, North Georgia Wildlife Park Presentations (in downtown Helen), Anna Ruby Falls, and downtown shopping at your leisure. SkyPass and timed entry are required for all add-ons. See below for more details.

*Please note that this trip is intended for 3rd-12th grade teachers and administrators and online bookings are required for all participants. Space is limited and a maximum of 4 educators per school will be permitted to attend. Selections will be made during the booking process and additional add-ons are available. Please see the list of current participating vendors below. Vendors are subject to change.

While it may seem as though you’re strolling the cobblestone streets of a timeless German village, the truth is that nearly every boutique, gift shop and emporium you enter presents a special opportunity for you to shop local in support of area merchants.
Georgia Mountain Coaster

Georgia Mountain Coaster is the first and only mountain coaster in the state. Control your own speed and choose your own adventure— go as fast or slow as you want. Go full speed ahead for an all-out thrill ride or gently glide down while enjoying the forest scenery.
North Georgia Wildlife Park Presentations

Meet staff members and some of their amazing and incredible animal species in Downtown Helen while learning about what a field trip to the zoo would entail. There’s always something new to discover and learn about and they ensure each student group a totally wild experience!
Anna Ruby Falls
*Included with SkyPass; no timed-entry needed
Experience the mountainous nature of Helen while walking along a half mile paved trail, ending with a beautiful overlook of Anna Ruby Falls. These twin waterfalls decend more than 145 feet, and are a part of a National recreational trail of Georgia.
Outpost Gem Mining and Geology Lesson
3rd-12th Grade Educators - $0 (quart)

Student are taught about the history of gem mining in the area and the types of rocks and minerals commonly found. Each participant is also provided a bag to sift, discover, and identify many different rocks and minerals.

Alpine Slot Car Racing

Come visit the fastest attraction in Helen, Georgia! Alpine Slot Car Racing offers a full racing experience for beginners and experienced racers. With 4 tracks, various speeds to race at, and many different kinds of cars to race with!
Zip Lining and Aeriel Adventure Park

Enjoy stunning scenery, thrilling ziplines and some crazy fun suspension bridges as you hike through the trees. All tours are guided by trained staff and courses are outfitted with a closed belay system for a safer tour for your family. Age: 8+

Abstract Studio

Abstract Studio is an interactive art experience! Our studio allows people to explore their inner artist and the joys of painting freely! Each student is provided with a canvas, paint, protective gear, tools and a take home box for their splatter painting!

At Escape Rooms of Helen GA, a creative team of designers and game masters have created a selection of rooms perfect for student groups! There are currently 4 family-friendly rooms that will challenge and excite your students including Bigfoot Rampage, Cabin in the Woods, Clue Me In, and Wanderland.
Cool River Adventures’ Aerial Adventure
Duration: 30-45 minutes

Cool River's aerial adventure park and obstacle courses are located at Headwaters Outpost, minutes from downtown Alpine Helen. The Big Adventure Course includes 10 elements/obstacles by the river with a short zipline at the end. Staff gear your group up and provide a safety talk with need to know info about navigating the course and going through the obstacle elements.
